EXOTIC ALGERIA PREMIUM 07 Nights / 08 Days

This 8-day Premium circuit (4 and 5 star hotels) focuses exclusively on the historical and natural wonders of Algeria. It includes Algiers (Notre Dame d’Afrique, Kasbah, Bardo Museum, Grand Mosque), ancient Roman sites at Tipaza and Djemila, the unique “city of bridges” Constantine (including Oscar Niemeyer’s works), and a thrilling Sahara Desert experience in El Oued with a 4×4 tour and desert dinner.

DAY BY DAY

Day 1 – Friday: Algiers

After arriving at the Algiers airport, you will be transferred to your hotel in the Chegara neighborhood, next to the Garden City Mall. The afternoon is free, followed by a welcome dinner at the Hotel Holiday Inn’s 101 restaurant. You’ll spend the night at the Holiday Inn 4*.

Day 2: Saturday – Algiers

This is a half board day. You will start with a visit to the Notre Dame d’Afrique church for a panoramic view of the city. The tour continues to the Citadel and the Kasbah of Algiers. Lunch is at a typical restaurant called Sapori Alger (Dar Soltan). The afternoon includes a visit to the Bardo Museum, a walk along the famous Dibouche commercial street, and time for shopping at Larbi Benmhidi. The night is spent at the Holiday Inn 4*.

Day 3: Sunday – Algiers & Tipaza

This is a full board day. You will travel to Tipaza to visit the Royal Mausoleum of Mauritania and the Roman ruins with a view of the sea. After an included lunch, you will return to Algiers to visit the Grand Mosque of Algiers, the third-largest mosque in the world with the tallest minaret. Dinner will be at the Piano Piano restaurant. Overnight is at the Holiday Inn 4*.

Day 4: Monday – Algiers, Djemila & Constantine

This full board day begins with a trip to Constantine, known as “the city of bridges”. You’ll have lunch on the way at the Avito restaurant. You’ll visit Djemila, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its Roman ruins, including basilicas, a Roman theater, arches, and mosaics, as well as the Djemila museum. The day concludes in Constantine with a visit to the Hadj Ahmed Bey Palace. Dinner and overnight will be at the hotel.

Day 5: Tuesday – Constantine

The day is on a full board plan and includes a tour of Constantine. You will visit the Roman villa of Tiddis, the old city, and the bridges of Constantine. After an included lunch at Igherssan, you will visit the Emir Abdelkader Mosque, the Bey’s Palace, and the Monument to the Dead. The tour also includes a look at works by the Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer, such as the University of Constantine. Dinner and overnight are at the hotel.

Day 6: Wednesday – Constantine, Biskra & El Oued (Desert)

After breakfast on a full board plan , you will travel toward Biskra, which is considered the “gateway to the desert”. On the way, you’ll visit the “balconies of Ghoufi”. After lunch, you will continue to Oued Souf, “the city of a thousand domes”. You will check into the La Gazelle d’Or Resort & Spa 5*, a hotel located in an oasis in the Sahara Desert, for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 7: Thursday – El Oued & Sahara Desert

With a full board plan, the morning is free. After lunch, you will embark on a 4×4 jeep tour to experience the Algerian desert, considered one of the most beautiful in the world. The evening features a “one thousand and one nights” dinner in the middle of the desert. An optional quad or camel ride is also available. You will return to the La Gazelle d’Or Resort & Spa 5* for the night.

Day 8: Friday – El Oued & Algiers

After breakfast, you’ll have a 30-minute transfer to Guemar Abdel Kader Lamoudi Airport for a direct 50-minute flight to Algiers. This flight is not included in the tour package.
